Frequently Asked Questions

General

Proven’s decision to switch from hard copy to e-magazine format was based on recommendations from our readers. We looked into projected trends within the industry and we realized that many of our peers are moving toward e-magazine format. We love that we are helping our planet and trying something recommended by our readers. The future of Proven will rely on what we hear from you…and will be based on what you want.

Proven Publications’ management team tossed around many options for the way ahead with Proven. The goal was to turn the print version into an e-magazine (and become more environmentally friendly). The team decided it was inevitable that it would be a hard transition regardless of how it was done. The transition has been difficult at times, but all in all the team is excited about the road ahead and believes that going green has been a great change for our resources, energy, and planet.

Please e-mail editor@getproven.com about any technical difficulties.

Authors' Questions

Instead of authors getting 25 hard copies of the magazine for distribution, we will now provide a PDF (comprised of the issue cover and article) and 25 hard copies of the PDF that they will be able to use for distribution. We want authors to still share their work and also spread the word about Proven.

No. Currently Proven doesn't offer monetary compensation for contribution. Proven Publications does, however, provide free and discounted advertising opportunities if you contribute to our e-magazine.

When an article is being considered for publication, Proven Publications works personally with each author to ensure the best quality piece for the magazine. It is preferred that all submissions follow the guidelines for length and content (found here) but if there are any questions about a particular piece please contact us at editor@getproven.com.

Proven Publications may not consider an article appropriate for publishing if it does not adhere to the submissions guidelines (found here). Also, should the magazine have excess content for the particular issue in question, the submission may be scheduled for future publication.

Proven Publications accepts case studies and scientific research. All submitters must have permission to publish any material that is unoriginal and/or has been previously published. View our submissions guidelines here. View our legal agreements here.

Proven Publications requires all submitters to sign an agreement appropriate to the submission prior to the publication of the issue in which the submission is published. All of our legal agreements and descriptions are located here.
